Blog Tour!!!

MARKED FOR DEATH BY MATT HILTON

Hello my lovely book people! Today I am on a wonderful book blog tour for this awesome author, Matt Hilton. I've actually never read any of his books until now, but I am so happy that I did.

I am extremely happy I read this book, I do love thrillers and this fit right into the genre. Joe Hunter is a standup guy. In this book you realize how much friendship means to him he's not afraid to put himself in situations where he has to use his fists, and it's very entertaining read.

I've actually not read any of the other books from the series, but I definitely am going to after reading this one! I read it pretty quickly, and what I love about a book is a book being able to hold me and keep me turning the pages.

It should have been a routine job, Joe Hunter and his friends are hired as security for an event in Miami. But it looks like trouble follows this man around quite often. Again this is a very action-packed interesting crime thriller read you will definitely not be disappointed with this book!!

This book was definitely a page turner, the words were flowing, Joe Hunter is an amazing character I really enjoyed this read! I want to thank the publishers, and the author for allowing me to participate in this blog tour.

The Force by Don Winslow

Hello guys! I am so thrilled to be sharing the review for this highly anticipated book that I just literally put down!!! I am almost upset that I actually read it as quickly as I did, but I could not help myself. This book was so good, from the first page to the very last word. Mr. Winslow goes into extreme detail to research the information that he puts into his novels. You almost feel as if you are reading a nonfiction or documentary about somebody’s life. His characters pack real life into them for sure. This book deserves more than 5 stars!  Definitely my favorite book of the year!

The Detriment

Hi Book lovers!! Today I want to talk about The Detriment by David Videcette, a former law enforcement officer turned writer. This is the second in the series who’s main character is DI Jake Flanagan.  What can I say? First, thank you to David for letting me be one of the very few first book bloggers to get my hands on this awesome read. I really enjoyed the first installment of the series, but I have to say I loved the second one even more. Detective inspector Jake Flanagan is quite a character as any other human being, he has his flaws but he also has his strengths. I really enjoy this read because in this installment he’s really trying to turn his life around, he’s really trying to do good and at the same time he is confronted with adversaries and coworkers who are really not on the same level as he is.  This book is packed with lots of adventure, it’s fast pace and easy to read you’re not bored, you’re not waiting for that moment when the book finally gets good it’s good from the first page to the last. I love books like this because you don’t have to build the climax, the climax is already there. I encourage if you have not read the first installment,  The thesis paradox, you need to, and although this is the second installment there are certain references to the first book so if you can read it in order you should but if you haven’t read the first one, don’t be discouraged! The fact that our author  was also a law enforcement  officer and is still widely used in the law enforcement the world, creates such a great atmosphere in the book I really just can’t say enough about how much I love this book! Plus what makes it so good is the author is such a sweetheart and he is very responsive on social media which I personally love. I really hope that there will be more books on this awesome character, detective inspector Jake Flanigan. This book grab me from the first page and really would not let me go until the last word I was very impressed with the writing and how easily this book caught and wrapped me in at bravo!!!!five stars ✨ from this book lover !!!!

The Tunnel by Carl Johan Vallgren

Hi loves!!! So I just finished this incredible book!! Boy, did it take me on a roller coaster ride!! The story is told from the perspective of three characters, which all blend together into the same storyline.  I was anticipating this book for a long time and want to say thank you so much to Quercus publishers for sending me this amazing book for an honest review.  I love a fast paced book from the beginning, and well developed characters that you end up thinking of as if they were real people you knew in your life! I can say that I truly appreciate the struggle that Katz went through in this book, unfortunately I personally know it well, and as I was reading I felt that it was so well developed. I literally took this book everywhere with me! This book is a fast paced, gritty, in your face book about friendship, betrayal, greed, drugs, the effects of drugs and sex.  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from me !

Sea of snow by Kerensa Jennings

Hi my lovely book people!! It’s been a little while since I have been at my blog! So I was recently given an opportunity to read a book a little different than my usual type.  I love police procedural novels, mysteries and thrillers.

Nevertheless, I was blown away by this book! The lovely author was nice enough to send me a copy of her book , so thank you!

I must warn you that there are some difficult subjects in the book, but at the same time, there was such a great character development.  I want to give the Seas of Snow a four out of five stars! Such exceptional writing, memorable characters and an excellent storyline that was hard to tear away from.

A tapping at my door by David Jackson

First thanks to Bonnie Zaffre publishing company for this opportunity to read and review this awesome book!

I always think so hard before I write a review because I don’t want to sound like everyone else, even though my fellow book bloggers are so great!

I truly enjoyed this book! I truly loved DS Nathan Cody. This book gives you a lot of background into the reasoning of Cody’s approach and his internal struggle.

The ending  was also fierce!! I do not like to give away many details but I was extremely happy that I read this book and will be reading the sequel, Hope to die, really soon.

4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PageTurner

Hello fellow book lovers!! Today is my turn on this awesome booktour! I was so excited to share this book with everyone because these ladies have come together to write an amazing debut novel.

“The Odense series is a new Nordic noir/Brit crime series that blends humanist stories and family drama with a greedy crime in the central Danish city Odense”

There is a lot of depth to this story and it hit home for me with the domestic drama in it. I was truly impressed and adored this book. I will definitely be watching these lovely ladies for the next in this awesome series!
